i wish an orchestra & someone with a boombox would follow me around so that my life would continuously be accompanied by a soundtrack.

unwinding i guess...

* i voted for david cook 5 times. i was so sure archu was gonna win, so i was bracing myself when seacrest was doing the announcement. when i heard "cook" i literally screamed. like screamed bloody murder kind of scream. my dad came into my room laughing his head off. that's 'coz he's been voting for archu (i donno why, even though he admits that cook deserves to win).

* i just finished Eclipse. wow, i now understand why them teenyboppers were going gaga over that series. i have to admit, i had a hard time putting down those books. i finished the last few pages at work today during lunch. it's a good thing i decided to hide out in my cube, because after i set the book down, i was fighting back the tears. haha. silly i know, but i was just thinking about the intensity and profoundness of the love between edward and bella. a pessimist might say that love like that is only real in... well, fiction. ha. but i do believe that pure profound deep selfless unconditional love still exists in reality. i've seen it in practice =]

the bad part about finishing the book is having to wait 'till august for the fourth one. >_< till then, i have to keep myself busy with other books. i still have the last Otori book to read. i still have the last half of Pride & Prejudice to read. the list goes on... so many books people! so many books!!!

speaking of many books... i made an awesometastic purchase last weekend at barnes & noble. i got Lord of the Rings hardcover - all three in one big book with pictures [not the movie pictures. that'd be cheezy yo!]. it retailed at $70, but i got it on s-a-l-e for $14.95. i was so happy. maybe some day i'll get it in leather bound or something like that... collectors edition blah blah. hahaha.

* i saw prince caspian last sunday. the movie was good. although, i remembered that it wasn't my most favorite book out of the 7. it didn't help that i watched it with people who weren't as excited as i was. it's hard when it seems like you're the only one who really really really wanted to see it. lol. and it also didn't help that i was sooo friggin' sleepy from lack of sleep the night before. oh well. i did think it was a good movie though. but i'm dreaming... i'm dreaming that they'd make The Horse and His Boy into a movie. not as popular as the other books from the 7, but for some reason, it turned out to be my favoritEST. "wardrobe" would come in next. and then "voyage". and then "magician's". sigh. if i were asked the question - "if you could be any character in a story - book or movie, who would you be?' i'll answer LUCY PEVENSIE!!! =D

* wow, lot's of things to write about tonight. i guess i just wanted to spill out my "thoughts" and goings-on and such... unwinding from a long day at work. sigh. i'm a working bee. hahaha. BUUUZZzzzzz

* but it feels weird if i don't post a pic. so here's something i found in the parking lot of bi-mart a few sundays ago. hehe -
