lines

Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Be my baby
I'll look after you
It's always have and never hold
You've begun to feel like home
What's mine is yours to leave or take
What's mine is yours to make your own
[look after you by the fray]

In this life, you're the one place I call home
In this life, you're the feeling I belong
In this life, you're the flower and the thorn
You're everything that's fair in love and war
In love and war
Head over heels
Head over heels

bad advice

just got done watching the hills. i know i know, guilty pleasure.

i got annoyed with a line that was said in this particular episodes that i just saw, something along the lines of "they don't know how he looks at me when it's just the two of us...". to put it into context, it was said by both heidi and lauren referring to the fact that people keep warning heidi about her current flame spencer, telling her to "watch out for him", because we'll, he's a dirt bag.

such bad advice... if a guy was treating me like a princess when it's just us but acts like a douche bag when he's out on his own without me, then the later definitely cancels out the former... i don't wanna be with someone who lives a double life.

love...

"If a person loves only one other person and is indifferent to the rest of his fellow men, his love is not love but a symbiotic attachment, or an enlarged egotism." (Art of Loving - 1957, by Erich Fromm)

"I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightfowardingly, without complexeties or pride. So I love you because i know no other way than this..." - Pablo Neruda

lapse of intelligence

so i was walking from campus down to pioneer square, and on the way there i passed by a restaurant. i was curious whether they would have good food, since the place looked swanky. i was reading the name of the restaurant [which i have forgotten] and from the bottom of the sign i was reading to myself, and thinking "A Sian Cafe. Hmmm, i wonder what Sian food is? Wonder if it's any good." then i realized that it was ASIAN Cafe. NERK. good thing i didn't say it out loud.

the price you pay

i'm starting to really love banana republic. it doesn't help that the store is right on the way to the max stop. i now have to find a different route [to avoid it] on days when i decide to walk from campus to pioneer square. just a few days ago, i spent over a hundred dollars... however i did get 4 items. regularly you'd only get one item for a hundred dollars, so i'm proud that i was able to get really good deals on pretty nifty items. just last week though, i bought something regular priced. but i love it. i haven't worn it yet >_< stop me from buying clothes! note to self: you don't need anymore clothes. shoes maybe? noooo, stay away!
